My Easter Tablescape

If you are like me, then all it takes is one item to inspire an entire tablescape. This years item were these beautiful green vintage etched goblets from William Sonoma Here. I love green and pink, its such a natural pairing for spring and thus my Easter tablescape was born. Be sure to check out my instagram later this week to learn how to recreate this exact centerpiece.

A great formula for a table this size (rectangular, set for 6):

  • 1 Centerpiece (Center)

  • 2 Tall Bud Vases (flanking either side of centerpiece)

  • 2 Short Bud Vases (flanking either side of centerpiece)

  • 2 candle votives (flanking either side of centerpiece)

  • 2 candlestick holders (flanking either side of centerpiece)

I chose rattan charges to bring an earthiness and balance out the table. Note that this tablescape is very frilly and feminine and if I had chosen a gilded charger or something porcelain or more formal then I may have ended up with a stuffy/tea party worthy tablescape. Not the look I was going for… this time.

I chose a very formal setting to display the flatware and a down to earth linen napkin which was displayed in a casual open way. Again, this is that balance. High/low, formal/friendly. Have fun and play with your ideas- do not get locked into a box. Somewhere down the middle is where I usually like to end up (transitional style).

One last tip: buy an extra set of flatware for all your entertaining and copy my exact layout shown above

Shop the tablescape inspired items below (some items in my tablescape are no longer availlable but I listed the most similar items I could find):
