French Fete For Mother’s Day

More often than not the menu will end up determining a celebrations theme or vibe for me. This Mother’s Day we decided to have steak frites a la a Parisian bistro. We decided on the menu and the rest followed, Berets & Ascots included!

Menu:

  • Baguettes

  • Steak Frites

  • Mixed Green Salad with vinaigrette

  • Assorted French Pastries

Other details:

  • French Music Playlist

  • Beret’s & Ascots

  • Cup for french fries (frites) like you would get at a french bistro that is elevated by using wax paper and a mint julep cup

  • French blue, white and cream tablescape (feels french but is not cheesy)
