Playing Around

We spent so much time in my parents backyard during 2020. They were in our quarantine bubble and we were so thankful for the backyard as park time was very minimal. This year my parents decided to add a playset for the grandkids so they could have fun all summer long. The kids are loving it and it looks like a natural fit in their yard next to my dad’s self made kayak rack (that’s a whole other blog post for a later date) but the playset ended up complimenting the green/wood combo on both units.

Here’s what we did:

  • We cleared the land (11x20 feet area)

  • Created a border using pressure treated 2x6” top rail with 4x4” posts set in concrete.

  • Laid down heavy duty landscaping fabric

  • Playground wood chips

  • Assemble Playset

The Playset we have is the Cedar Summit by Kid Kraft Hilltop Playset. I have linked similar sets below
