Kid’s Easter Breakfast Table

For holidays and birthdays I always like to set things off with a breakfast table-scape. It sets the tone of celebration first thing in the morning and the kids are really into it. This comes in handy for birthdays in particular when your kids tell you they want a certain type of party, ie a Frozen party. You then order everything for the party only to be told THE WEEK OF that no, they want a Moana party now. Mom voice: “Oh no, you’re getting a Frozen birthday party like you told me you wanted but your birthday breakfast is a Moana birthday breakfast” They’re so high hearing they are essentially getting two celebrations that there won’t be any issues after that.

Now you’re thinking really Whitney? You’re spoiling them and while yes, that might be, here is how I look at things:

  • They have to eat breakfast anyways- might as well fancy it up

  • It’s another reason to celebrate

  • My kids love decorations, they know its not everyday and they look forward to it

The inspiration for this breakfast table came from the centerpiece. Head over to my instagram for the full “how to” of it all and recreate it yourself. I then pulled the bunny riding a bike from decor that was already in the house. Add everyday Pillowfort plastic plates as a base (the target bunny shaped plates were just too small scale wise on the table but I loved their shape and wanted to make them work so by adding the bottom plate you get depth and the size increase).
