Low Calorie Breakfast Burritos

I love breakfast burritos (any burritos really), and these ones really hit the spot in the morning. I typically end up eating them for lunch too. If you’re looking for delicious meals that hit under 300 calories then you have got to give this a try.

70 calories - 1 Carb Balanced Tortilla (Mission Brand)

70 calories -1 large egg

40 calories - 2 tablespoons Pica De Gallo

30 calories - 1/8 avocado

80 calories - 2 slices of bacon (kirkland brand)

Steps

  1. shmear avocado to cover center of tortilla

  2. scramble eggs and then pile them in the center

  3. crumble bacon strips on top of eggs

  4. distribute pico de gallo evenly

  5. wrap into burrito

  6. toast burrito and flip once

  7. slice in half on diagonal

  8. I do a few dashes of Cholula hot sauce while eating

Tip: Next time you do Mexican take-out be sure to order a side of Pico De Gallo to add to your recipes throughout the week. This will save you the trouble of assembling an entire salsa.
